Fresno is an amazing place. A mid-sized town by California standards, a large metropolis almost anywhere else. As the largest city in the Central Valley, Fresno has high expectations for itself and that applies directly to our Police Department. Fresno is not an island; nor is the Fresno Police Department. The Fresno Police Department forges partnerships with other agencies, cities, the County of Fresno and the State to provide its residents with a better quality of life. The Fresno Police Chief’s Foundation works to forge partnerships with its citizens and local businesses to do the same.
The Fresno Police Chief’s Foundation exists to help the Department fund the programs, services and equipment needed to be better prepared to connect and respond to our community. These are needs that are not funded through other means, but are resources that can help the Department forge stronger relationships with the citizens who live, work, shop and recreate in our great city.
I encourage you to take a close look at the community efforts and programs that the Fresno Police Department is involved with; those listed on this website and those that you would like to see or are ongoing in your neighborhoods. Are there are programs you would like to support or get involved with for the betterment of Fresno?
