In 2022, the Fresno Police Department excelled within our community and produced more safety and more jobs for Fresnans across generations. With improved traffic safety, impressive amounts of seized illegal drugs, impactful rescues of victims of human trafficking, thousands of hours contributed by volunteers, and more, our department has never been stronger.

The Fresno Police Department saw a decrease in Murder, Residential Burglaries, and Motor Vehicle Theft thanks to the efforts of our Patrol Division. This group is highly skilled in mediating disputes, investigating crimes, recovering evidence, and arresting wanted and dangerous criminals.
